This is a title sequence I designed for the movie “Nope” by Jordan Peele. It is a Horror/Thriller/Sci-fi film about two siblings who have to confront a UFO terrorizing the town. I wanted to focus on setting the tone of the film and subtle foreshadowing, by hinting at things you will see in the film.

The Sequence will focus on the themes and imagery you see throughout the film. As the sequence goes on, each element starts to be slowly dripping with blood to indicate the horror tone in the film.
I wanted to tell the story from more of a surrealist approach, and imply the narrative rather than tell it objectively.
